Unveiling the Writer

A native of Murfreesboro, TN (let's just say Nashville and call it a day), I've lived in Los Angeles for 7 years. As a major in Journalism and Electronic Media, writing has always been a passion of mine. Not to mention that my father has been a writer his entire life alongside a family of high school teachers and college professors.

As an actor, I began realizing that I could turn all of my wonky show ideas into a reality by incorporating my writing skills. I was 15 years old when I wrote my first scene for a TV show: a story about what else other than high schoolers in love and trying to figure out unbalanced friendships. I currently have a filmed teaser for a TV show that a friend and I wrote, and the shows I gravitate towards and write similarly to are Broad City, The Other Two, Insecure, Dollface, Workin' Moms and Workaholics. I once told someone one of my show ideas was like a Rated R New Girl. Something fun and quirky that hits in the gut of reality.

I love watching TV and movies, and I'd also love to turn that passion into Reviews. I feel like I have a unique twist because I am watching and judging as an actor and a writer. I like to experiment with various writing styles and techniques, and my experience in standup comedy has expanded my realm of comedy. I’m never afraid to tackle any project or find new, creative ways to come up with something fresh and original. I love meeting fellow artists in the industry, and I am the Founder of Screenwriters of Echo Park/Silver Lake/Los Feliz. I'm a total goofball, and I hope it comes across in my writings. Enjoy!
